A "Made in China" label, Product of China or not, can be a misleading label for obvious reasons. Products that are "made in China" are not always made in factories inside China. Many are made in sweatshops. Products made in China often come from sweatshops where workers live in squalid conditions. Products of China that are stamped as "Made in China" are often actually made in Thailand or the Philippines.
A "Made in China" stamp means that the drawing or other type of artwork has been done in a Chinese factory. The exact location of the factory manufacturing the item is not revealed. Sometimes, the location of the actual factory can be ascertained by an inspection of the factory premises. But sometimes, there is no way to know. This is why we cannot rely solely on the location of the made in China.
Designing of a product involves many processes. At each step along the process, specific measurements and specifications are required. These specifications must be adhered to in order quantity and quality control are assured. In order to assure quality, production designs and drawings of various phases of manufacturing must be drawn. These are used by the engineers as well as the manufacturing department to estimate the amount of material, energy and labor needed for the production of a certain product.
How is a product made in China? In general, things made in China are made by large corporations. The producer finds a large customer for the product and starts manufacturing. Things produced by large corporations are branded goods.
Sometimes, Chinese factories produce smaller and cheaper things. They are called import goods. There are a lot of companies that outsource their production to China. Chinese workers are cheap labor. They earn as low as two or three cents per hour. The main reason behind this low pay is that the American and European Union does not have any trade barriers with China.
Some countries require factories to have their own water supply, sewage system and electricity system. The foreign company pays for all these facilities, and a Chinese factory can have them. Cheap labor is also one of the reasons that have made the Chinese factory manufacturing popular all over the world. Foreign companies can save up to forty percent on their production run through a Chinese factory.
Most China factories do not have any export processing facility, they only source materials and sell them to their local customers. When Chinese villagers live in factories, they live like any other person in town. They go home when they are done with their job and have a chance to enjoy life in a rural community.
China has always been known for their excellent craftsmanship. If you look at most oriental furniture or China pieces, you will notice that they are made with great skill. But if you look at the most modern computer made in China pieces, you will see that they are made very cheaply. This is because the Chinese people do not have the necessary skills to make computer products. But they have the necessary skills to make any other product. This is one of the main reasons why Chinese factory workers have the lowest pay in the world.
Most Chinese factories only use manual labour. In most cases, when a machine is required, a Chinese factory would need to hire people from the local village to work on it. These people may belong to the local construction team or they could be from the local electricians' association. These workers would be used by factory machinery to produce the product made in China.
Although Chinese factories may be small in terms of their manpower, they still have a large amount of supplies. In most cases, these are raw materials that cannot be sold on the local market. Chinese factories buy their raw materials from high demand abroad in order quantity. If they don't buy these products from high demand abroad, they would be forced to produce goods of low quality, which would result in the loss of their reputation in the industry.
So, as you can see, there are many reasons why a China products list should be considered when you are planning to buy any Chinese made products. One of these reasons is the fact that there are so many of them available. You won't run out of Chinese made items to choose from, so long as you're willing to look for them.
